As a quality manager, Is it a good option to reduce the quality of a packaging material to reduce the cost of a food product?
I will be very thankful for your information about; As a quality manager, Is it a good option to reduce the quality of a packaging material to reduce the cost of a food product?

I donot think so..I have seen many failures where product failed or damaged due to poor packaging and we have ended up giving full product credit back to customer due to poor quality, damaged goods etc. You can reduce excessive packaging one by one not in a one go as a part of six sigma project.
