Hi Ashok,

I took the CQA exam in 2016 through computer based testing and it was 165 questions long with case studies questions.  15 of the questions were ungraded, but you don't know which of the 165 were of the 15.  Time was extremely limited and I barely finished in time to review the questions that I flagged on the computer to review.  If it is a computer based exam (CBT) all questions are multiple choice even the case studies questions where you read an excerpt and answer questions relevant to the case study.  Hope this helps!

As Claire had mentioned, if you're taking the CQT exam, it'll be 110 questions, 100 will be graded and 10 are survey questions that are ungraded.

The case studies questions require you to read several relatively short documents (~3-6 pages per case study) that are in a PDF-like form that is on the computer screen, so soft version.  There are several case studies for the CQA exam.

I am getting close to examining for my CQT (certified Quality Tech). I was wondering about the notes. I know it says they have to be bound (mine are by glue and ring binder). Does anyone know if I can take multiple bound composition books? I have a few. I also have a small binder where I put my loose notes to ensure they are "bound?" I just wasn't sure if we can take in multiple notebooks assuming they are all bound (not bound together though). Also...I have some examples worked out in my notes. They don't have the question AND the answer. I know I have to remove the extra pages in my notebooks that are blank. Anything else? Anything helps!

Thanks in advance!

Hi Adrian,

as long as any loose pages are clipped into the 3 ring binder you should be ok.

The composition notebooks should be ok, too.

Best bet is to check with the CBT center where the exam will be held.

The CBT center will check everything when you sign in the day of the test.
